“The Shakespearean Seminar” was built in the spring of 2022 for Sciences Po in Paris. It is a seminar specifically designed for students studying the English language, and best fits as a building block in for studies in: English theatre, English literature, or English rhetoric. It can serve as an introduction to devices such as assonance, consonance, alliteration, repetition (among many more), and is the perfect crash course in how one can use language - and the spaces in between - to make an argument.

Shakespeare wrote to be performed, and he was one of the best code-writers to ever have existed! We’re here to help you crack that code. Every piece of Shakespearean text - from punctuation, to the sounds of the words, to the layout of the lines - every element of his writing dictates how it should be performed.
We love working with student performers on his texts; helping them break the code, and lose their fear of Shakespeare. We offer various packages of masterclasses; don’t hesitate to reach out for more information
